Imagine living in a world where everyone spoke to each other using a normal rate, tone, and volume of speech; a world without put-downs, profanity, and threats.
What if there were harsher laws in place – laws that would force bullies to consider the consequences more. What if bullies who drive another person to suicide were charged with manslaughter? Now that is the question.
Inspired by true events, Bully Fighters is a short film that raises both sides of this delicate topic when a passionate attorney takes three teens to court for bullying on manslaughter charges after they bullied a girl into committing suicide. Now the jury must decide.
“The work of NCPCV is critical in this country today, not just for our law enforcement officers, but for our children – the future of our country. Every one of us has experienced the pain of bullying and expressed our sorrow at the lack of respect and courtesy throughout society. I am so very humbled to have been asked to serve this unique and vital organization. And, I am proud to be a part of it.”
